Unsere Vorstellung des Sehnsuchtsziels Camargue bestand u.A. aus Herden wilder Schimmel, schwarzen Stieren, Schwärmen von Flamingos, manuell betriebenen Salinen und Bergen aus Salz.
Gesehen haben wir Schimmel (keine wilden, aber im Wasser stehende), schwarze Stiere (und Kühe), Flamingos und viele andere Watvögel, unzugängliche, industriell betriebene Salinen, drei große Salzberge (einer davon weiß) und sehr viel Reisanbau.
Myth Camargue
Our image of the yearning destination Camargue consisted of herds of wild mildews, black bulls, flamingo swarms, manually operated saltworks and mountains of salt.
We have seen mildews (not wild, but standing in the water), black bulls (and cows), flamingos and many other waders, inaccessible industrial saltworks, three large salt heaps (one of them white) and very much rice cultivation.
