Die Plitwitzer Seen haben wir erst mal rechts liegen lassen und sind nach Süden weiter gefahren. (Bei bedecktem Himmel gibt es keine wirklich schönen See- und Wasserfall-Fotos. Wir hoffen auf bessere Bedingungen auf dem Weg zurück nach Norden.) Immerhin haben wir so die Kälte hinter uns gelassen. Nach -4°C in Slawonien und +6°C in Slunj (jeweils am frühen Morgen) umgeben uns jetzt, immer noch Anfang November, 17°C.
Nordöstlich von Zadar überqueren wir den Kanal, der das Novigradsko More (Novigrader Meer) mit dem Adriatischen Meer verbindet. Bungee Jumping wird hier angeboten. Zwei junge Männer aus dem nahe gelegenen Bosnien-Herzegovina springen.
At the Novigradsko More We have left the Plitvice Lakes to the right and drove south. (When the sky is overcast, there will be not really beautiful lake and waterfall photos. We hope for better conditions on the way back north.) After all, we have left the cold behind us. After -4°C in Slavonia and +6°C in Slunj (in each case in the early morning) we are now surrounded by 17°C, still at the beginning of November.
North-east of Zadar we cross the channel that connects the Novigradsko More (Novigrad sea) with the Adriatic Sea. Bungee jumping is offered here. Two young men from nearby Bosnia-Herzegovina jump.
Am gegenüber liegenden Kanalende ist eine Autobahn-Hochbrücke zu sehen. Hier tritt der Karst exemplarisch zu Tage, der die Region weitläufig prägt.
At the opposite end of the channel a highway high bridge can be seen. Here the karst is examplary, which characterizes the region extensively.
Ein paar Kilometer weiter, südlich von Posedarje, steht auf einer winzigen Insel eine kleine Kapelle. Ein gemauerter Steg führt durch das seichte Wasser.
A few kilometers farther, south of Posedarje, stands a tiny chapel on a tiny island. A bricked walkway leads through the shallow water.
