Auf dem Weg zur Nordküste haben wir am Ortsrand von Ampudia einen angenehmen Wohnmobil-Stellplatz gefunden, neben Sportplatz, Stierkampfarena und Park. In Sichtweite steht eine Burg, die teilweise noch gut erhalten ist.
On the way to the north coast we found a nice camper pitch on the outskirts of Ampudia, next to sports ground, bullring and park. In sight is a castle, which is still partially well preserved.
Die Burg und die große Kathedrale lassen uns vermuten, dass der kleine Ort mal sehr bedeutend war. Dass er immer noch recht wohlhabend ist, zeigen die aufwendigen Laubengänge der historischen Häuser im Ortszentrum.
The castle and the large cathedral let us assume that the small place once was very important. That it is still quite wealthy, show the elaborate arcades of the historic houses in the center.
