Die Daugavas loki, die naturbelassenen Schleifen der Daugava, stehen unter Naturschutz und sind ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel. Bei Markova ist dafür ein sehr großer Parkplatz angelegt und ein besonders edler Picknick- und Grillplatz. Und weil wir hier in Lettland sind, darf ein außergewöhnlicher Kinderspielplatz nicht fehlen. An einer Anlegestelle sind Holzflöße fest gemacht, mit Tischen und Bänken darauf. Offenbar wird hier in großem Stil mit Touristen auf dem Fluss geflößt.
At the Daugavas loki The Daugavas loki, the natural loops of the Daugava, are under nature protection and are a popular destination. Near Markova there is a very large parking lot and a particularly elegant picnic and barbecue area. And because we are here in Latvia, an extraordinary children’s playground cannot be missing. Wooden rafts are tied to a landing stage, with tables and benches on them. Apparently there is a big raft of tourists on the river here.
