Die Nordsee im Winter ist für uns seit vielen Jahren ein beliebtes Reiseziel. Diesmal sind wir für ein paar Tage mit unserem Wohnmobil in Südjütland und Nordfriesland unterwegs. Unser erstes Ziel ist die Insel Rømø, die südlichste an der dänischen Nordsee. Über einen Damm ist sie mit dem Festland verbunden. Wir fahren darüber hinaus noch weiter bis auf den sehr breiten Strand. Hier ist nämlich das Befahren des Strandes erlaubt, Übernachten allerdings nicht. Unsere Neopren-gefütterten Gummistiefel sind jetzt die richtige Ausrüstung, um im seichten Meerwasser umher zu stapfen.
On the beach of Rømø The North Sea in winter has been a popular travel destination for us for many years. This time we are traveling with our motorhome in South Jutland and North Friesland for a few days. Our first destination is the island of Rømø, the southernmost on the Danish North Sea. It is connected to the mainland by a dam. We continue to drive up to the very wide beach. Driving on the beach is allowed here, but not staying overnight. Our neoprene-lined rubber boots are now the right equipment to trudge in the shallow sea water.
