Eine der landschaftlich reizvollsten Gegenden Santorinis ist für uns der westliche Zipfel im Süden der Insel. Die Straße von Akrotíri zum Leuchtturm am Kap Akrotíri ist an vielen Stellen von Blumenwiesen gesäumt. Die Caldera und das offene Mittelmeer sind fast auf der gesamten Strecke zu sehen. Die Orte Imerovígli, Firostefáni und Firá sind auf einigen der Fotos als dicker weißer Strich oben auf dem Kraterrand zu erkennen.

One of the most scenic areas of Santorini is for us the western tip in the south of the island. The road from Akrotíri to the lighthouse at Cape Akrotíri is bordered in many places by flowering meadows. The caldera and the open Mediterranean can be seen almost on the entire route. The places Imerovígli, Firostefáni and Firá can be spoted on some of the photos as a thick white line on top of the crater rim.
