Wir sind mal wieder auf dem Weg in den Südwesten Europas. Auf einer Fotoreise durch Frankreich, Spanien und Portugal wollen wir den grauen Spätherbst und die Kälte des Winters hinter uns lassen. Von Duisburg mussten wir durch das Rheinland, Belgien und den Norden Frankreichs fahren, bis das sehr herbstliche Wetter zunächst mal Pause macht. Noch am Vormittag hat es heftig geregnet. Doch am Cap Fréhel lichtet sich tatsächlich der Himmel und wir können eine der schönsten, wilden Küsten der Bretagne erleben. Ende November blüht hier beim Leuchtturm Phare du Cap Fréhel der Ginster. Neben dem aktiven, hohen Leuchtturm steht der historische Phare Vauban.
We are once again on our way to south-western Europe. On a photography trip through France, Spain and Portugal, we want to leave the grey late autumn and the cold of winter behind us. From Duisburg, we had to drive through the Rhineland, Belgium and northern France until the very autumnal weather took a break. It was still raining heavily in the morning. But at Cap Fréhel, the sky actually clears and we are able to experience one of the most beautiful, wild coasts in Brittany. At the end of November, the gorse is in bloom here at the Phare du Cap Fréhel lighthouse. Next to the active, tall lighthouse stands the historic Phare Vauban.
