Auf der Halbinsel Avalon, nordöstlich von Cape St. Mary‘s, stürzen an der Schotterstraße zwei Bäche recht spektakulär in eine Schlucht. Von der Straße und der Brücke über die schmale Schlucht sind die Kaskaden nur schlecht einsehbar. Also hat die Provinz Neufundland Labrador diese kleine Sehenswürdigkeit im Nirgendwo als Provinzpark ausgewiesen und eine Infrastruktur geschaffen: Einen Parkplatz sowie Treppen und Stege aus Holz, mit Reling.
On the Avalon peninsula, northeast of Cape St. Mary’s, by a gravel road two streams plunge quite spectacular into a gorge. From the road and the bridge over the narrow gorge, the cascades are difficult to see. So the Province of Newfoundland Labrador has designated this little attraction in the middle of nowhere as provincial park and created an infrastructure: a parking lot as well as wooden stairs and walkways with railing.
