13 km südöstlich von General Belgrano (Provinz Buenos Aires) hat sich offenbar der ehemalige Besitzer einer Estancia einen richtig prallen Wald, ein Arboretum, gegönnt. Das ist einerseits verständlich in dieser an Bäumen armen Gegend und wunderschön, andererseits in der Pampa ganz besonders ungewöhnlich. Hinter dem Wohnhaus, das jetzt ein Estancia-Museum ist, steht dieser verwunschene Wald (El Bosque Encantado). Nach ergiebigem Regen in der vergangenen Nacht ist er nass; die Bäume und die gesamte geordnete Wildnis mögen das.
The Enchanted Forest
13 km southeast of General Belgrano (Buenos Aires Province), the former owner of an estancia has apparently treated himself to a really lush forest, an arboretum. On the one hand, this is understandable in this area, which is poor in trees and beautiful, but on the other hand, it is particularly unusual in the pampas. Behind the house, which is now an estancia museum, is this enchanted forest (El Bosque Encantado). After heavy rain last night, it is wet; the trees and all the ordered wilderness like it.
