Das Dorf Žeimelis haben wir nur entdeckt, weil wir am Stausee gleich nebenan einen hübschen Stellplatz erhofft haben. Der Name des Sees ist „der weißeste Teich“ (laut Google Übersetzer: Baltausių tvenkinys). Auf dem Weg dort hin sehen wir eine große Ansammlung von Störchen. Auf einem abgeernteten und schon teilweise gepflügten Acker stolzieren mindesten 30 Störche umher. Alle bekommen wir jedoch nicht auf ein Bild. Und dann kommen wir zum See. Der ist eine Idylle. Und einen traumhaften Stellplatz bietet er auch.
The whitest pond The village of Žeimelis we only discovered because we hoped for a nice pitch next to the reservoir. The name of the lake is „the whitest pond“ (according to Google translator: Baltausių tvenkinys). On the way there we see a large cluster of storks. At least 30 storks strut around on a harvested and partially plowed field. However, we don’t get them all in one picture. And then we come to the lake. It is an idyll. And it also offers a fantastic pitch.
