Bei Cernavodă führt eine der (derzeit) zwei rumänischen Brücken über die Donau. Hier beginnt bzw. endet der Donau-Schwarzmeer-Kanal (Canalul Dunăre-Marea Neagră). Eine Leitstelle in einem Turm überwacht den Schiffsverkehr. Das Gebäude neben dem Turm ist verlassen und verfällt, ähnlich wie der Anleger davor.
Danube at Cernavodă At Cernavodă, one of the (currently) two Romanian bridges crosses the Danube. The Danube-Black Sea Canal (Canalul Dunăre-Marea Neagră) begins or ends here, respectively. A control centre in a tower monitors the shipping traffic. The building next to the tower is abandoned and decaying, similar to the jetty in front of it.
