Auch beim dritten Besuch hat das Ebro-Delta für uns an Faszination nichts verloren. Das Land ist flach wie ein Brett, im Hintergrund ragt unmittelbar eine Gebirgswand auf. An den Rändern franst das Delta aus in Gebiete mit großen Wasserflächen. Teilweise wurden die als Salinen genutzt. Zwei Tage lang haben wir auf dem Wohnmobil-Stellplatz in (Sant Carles de la) Ràpita einen Sturm ausgesessen. Jetzt ist es immer noch sehr windig und am Himmel ist „Wolkentheater“.
Ebro Delta for the third time
Even on our third visit, the Ebro Delta has lost none of its fascination for us. The land is flat as a board, with a mountain wall rising directly in the background. At the edges, the delta fringes into areas with large bodies of water. Some of these were used as salt flats. We spent two days weathering a storm at the motorhome parking area in (Sant Carles de la) Ràpita. It is still very windy and there is a ‘cloud theatre’ in the sky.
