Auf unseren ersten beiden Norwegen-Reisen haben wir keinen einzigen Elch gesehen, auf der dritten zwei in der Dämmerung (und zwei im Polar-Park). Inzwischen hat sich wohl unter den Elchen herumgesprochen, dass man in unseren Blog kommt, wenn man schön still hält. Auf dem Weg nach Andøya sehen wir zwei große Elche kurz bevor wir die Insel erreichen. Gerade mal zehn Minuten später, im Süden Andøyas, sind es eine Elchkuh auf der einen Straßenseite und das Kalb auf der anderen.
Lots of elks On our first two trips to Norway we didn’t see a single elk / moose, on the third two at dusk (and two in the Polar-Park). In the meantime, probably word has got around among the elks that you can appear in our blog if you keep nice and quiet. On the way to Andøya we see two large elks just before we reach the island. Only ten minutes later, in the south of Andøya, there is an elk cow on one side of the road and the calf on the other.
