Wieder fahren wir auf teils abenteuerlichen Feld- und Waldwegen zum Ende eines der Zipfel der Insel Saaremaa. Auf dem Weg zum Leuchtturm Laidunina passieren wir sehr einfache Behausungen und die bildschöne Küste. Der Turm und seine Umgebung sind sehenswert, aber Ruinen. Der Leuchtturm wurde 1924 deaktiviert und seine Leuchteinrichtung zum Leuchtturm Kübassaare transferiert. Inzwischen ist er als kulturelles Monument Estlands anerkannt.
Kahtla Peninsula Again we drive on partly adventurous field and forest paths to the end of one of the corners of the Saaremaa island. On the way to the Laidunina lighthouse, we pass very simple dwellings and the beautiful coastline. The tower and its surroundings are worth seeing but ruins. The lighthouse was deactivated in 1924 and its lighting equipment was transferred to the Kübassaare lighthouse. It is meanwhile recognized as a cultural monument of Estonia.
