Im Puerto de Castellón suchen wir nach einem Leuchtturm. Der steht unerreichbar im gesperrten Bereich des Hafens. Aber während der Suche fällt uns ein anderer, alter Leuchtturm auf. Es ist der Faro del Muelle de Costa (Leuchtturm der Küstenmole), der als Denkmal an den Sportboothafen versetzt wurde. Als wir ihn aufsuchen wollen, passieren wir noch einen weiteren, sehr modernen Leuchtturm. Das ganze Areal des Sportboothafens ist zum Flanieren attraktiv gestaltet, mit Skulpturen, Spielplätzen, großflächigen Fotos der Sehenswürdigkeiten etc.
In the port of Castellón
In Puerto de Castellón, we search for a lighthouse. It stands inaccessible in the restricted area of the port. But during our search, we notice another old lighthouse. It is the Faro del Muelle de Costa (Coastal Pier Lighthouse), which has been moved to the marina as a monument. As we make our way there, we pass another, very modern lighthouse. The entire marina area is attractively designed for strolling, with sculptures, playgrounds, large-scale photos of local landmarks, etc.
