In Sevilla einen freien Parkplatz zu ergattern, ist fast wie Lotterie. Das müssen wir feststellen, als wir ein Spezialitätengeschäft aufsuchen wollen. Um so erstaunter sind wir, mitten in der Stadt, unweit des Rio Guadalquivir, einen riesigen Wohnmobil-Stellplatz zu finden. Auf dem Gelände wurden offensichtlich Gebäude abgerissen, vermutlich werden die Womos dort geduldet, bis das Gelände wieder anderweitig genutzt wird.
Nach einer ruhigen Nacht auf dem Platz, noch vor dem Frühstück, gehen wir zum Parque de María Luisa, am gegenüber liegenden Ufer des Flusses. Der Park ist noch triefend nass vom Regen in der Nacht und wir sind fast die einzigen Besucher.

Finding a free parking space in Seville is almost like winning the lottery. We realise this when we want to visit a speciality shop. So we are all the more astonished to find a huge motorhome parking area in the middle of the city, not far from the Rio Guadalquivir. Buildings have obviously been demolished on the site, and motorhomes are probably tolerated there until the site is used for other purposes again.
After a quiet night at the pitch, we head to the Parque de María Luisa on the opposite bank of the river before breakfast. The park is still dripping wet from the night’s rain, and we are almost the only visitors.

Nach dem Frühstück fahren wir zum Park und finden in der Straße, die ihn durchschneidet, einen Parkplatz. Die Sonne scheint jetzt auf den wirklich großen Park mit vielen Palmen, gigantischen Eukalyptus- und Gummibäumen sowie einer Vielzahl exotischer Gewächse. Jetzt strömen die Menschen in den Park, man könnte meinen, hier sei ein Volksfest. Ziel vieler Besucher des Parks ist die Plaza de España.
After breakfast, we drive to the park and find a parking space on the road that cuts through it. The sun is now shining on the truly enormous park with its many palm trees, gigantic eucalyptus and rubber trees, and a multitude of exotic plants. People are now streaming into the park; you would think it was a public festival. The destination for many visitors to the park is the Plaza de España.
