Der State Highway 6 wendet sich vom Lake Wanaka nach Südosten, und gleich darauf liegt Lake Hawea vor uns. War Lake Wanaka schon ein Traum in Türkis, so dreht dieser See die Palette von Blau, Aquamarin und Türkis noch weiter. Und wieder haben wir den Eindruck, dass der See mit bestem Trinkwasser gefüllt ist.

State Highway 6 turns southeast from Lake Wanaka, and right after that, Lake Hawea lies ahead of us. Was Lake Wanaka already a dream in turquoise, so this lake turns the range of blue, aquamarine and turquoise even further.
