Einen großen, besonders ordentlichen, kostenlosen Wohnmobil-Stellplatz in schöner Lage an der Besbre bietet Lapalisse. Ein Château aus dem 12. bis 16. Jahrhundert überragt die kleine Stadt im Département Allier. Der offenkundig ältere Teil der Stadt, bei der Kirche Saint Jean Baptiste aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, wirkt morbid. Vor dem Schloss ist alles etwas repräsentativer.
Lapalisse offers a large, exceptionally well-maintained, free motorhome parking area in a nice spot at the Besbre. A château dating from the 12th to the 16th century towers over the small town in the Allier department. The clearly older part of the town, near the 19th-century Church of Saint Jean Baptiste, has a somewhat gloomy atmosphere. In front of the château, everything looks a bit more stately.
