Gemünden nennt sich „Die Perle des Hunsrücks“. In dem Dorf am Fuß des Soonwaldes stehen viele schöne alte Fachwerkhäuser aus dem 17. und 18. Jahrhundert. Auf dem angenehmen Wohnmobilstellplatz liegt das Barockschloss in unserem Blickfeld, das über dem Ort thront. Bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit wird es illuminiert. Das ist ein guter Anlass, Dorf und Schloss näher in Augenschein zu nehmen.
