Etwa 40 Kilometer nordwestlich von Barcelona erhebt sich auf einem aus der Landschaft ragenden einzelnen Berg ein noch steilerer, bizarrer Felsstock, der so genannte „Zersägte Berg“, Serra de Montserrat.
Die Auffahrt auf den Berg ist schon ein kleines Abenteuer auf der schmalen Serpentinenstraße. Von weit oben blicken wir auf den Ort Monistrol. Um das Massiv der steinernen ‚Wurstfinger‘ führt eine gut ausgebaute Straße.
About 40 kilometers northwest of Barcelona on a mountain towering out of the landscape, rises an even steeper, bizarre rock, the so-called „Sawed Mountain“, Serra de Montserrat.
Driving up the mountain is already a little adventure on the narrow serpentine road. From far above we look at the place Monistrol. A well developed road leads around the massif of the stone “sausage fingers”.
