Wesentliches Gestaltungselement des Muskauer Park / Park Mużakowski ist das Neue Schloss Muskau im Zuckerbäcker-Stil. Das alte Schloss, gleich daneben, ist schlicht gehalten und viel kleiner. Etwas abseits, im Park, bilden die Gebäude des Schloss-Vorwerks ein Quarré.
