Am Corniche Basque
Im spanischen Baskenland hatten wir zuletzt mehrere trübe und regnerische Tage. Daher haben wir beschlossen, mit der Rückreise zu beginnen und sind bei Hendaye nach Frankreich gefahren. Wir haben jetzt viel Zeit für die Durchquerung unseres Nachbarlandes, also fahren wir erst mal an der Côte Basque entlang. Hier verläuft der Wanderweg Corniche Basque oberhalb einer außerordentlich zerklüfteten, felsigen Steilküste. Unweit eines Parkstreifens gelingt uns der Abstieg zum Meeresspiegel.
At the Corniche Basque
In the Spanish Basque country we had several cloudy and rainy days lastly. Therefore, we decided to start the return journey and drove to France at Hendaye. Now we have a lot of time to cross our neighboring country, so we drive along the Côte Basque. Here, the Corniche Basque trail runs above an extremely rugged, rocky cliff. Not far from a parking strip, we succeed in the descent to the sea level.
