Peggy’s Point
Der Leuchtturm Peggy’s Point in Peggy’s Cove gilt als der meist fotografierte Kanadas. Der Turm selbst ist nichts Besonderes, seine Umgebung macht ihn spektakulär. Er steht nämlich am Rand eines ausgedehnten Areals von glatt geschliffenen und blank gespülten Felsen. Bei Trockenheit ist das ein riesiger „Spielplatz“, auch für Erwachsene.
The lighthouse Peggy’s Point at Peggy’s Cove is considered the most photographed in Canada. The tower itself is nothing special, its surroundings make it spectacular. It stands on the edge of an extensive area of smoothly polished and bare washed rocks. In drought, this is a huge „playground“, for adults, too.
