West Cape Howe NP
Westlich des Torndirrrup National Park ragt als südlichste Spitze Westaustraliens der West Cape Howe National Park in den südlichen Indischen Ozean. Eine kaum ausgebaute, schmale Straße führt zum Shelley Beach. Vom Parkplatz oberhalb ist der Strand zu Fuß zu erreichen. Aber zunächst genießen wir die traumhafte Aussicht über die vor uns liegende Landzunge und den Strand.
West of the Torndirrrup National Park, West Cape Howe National Park juts out into the Southern Ocean as the southernmost tip of Western Australia. A barely developed, narrow road leads to Shelley Beach. From the parking lot above, the beach is within walking distance. But first we enjoy the fantastic view over the headland and the beach in front of us.
Mal wieder entdecken wir uns unbekannte Pflanzen, hier mit zierlichen hellblauen Blüten. Und weiß blühende Eukalypten scheinen voller Schneebälle zu hängen.
Once again we discover unknown (to us) plants, here with dainty light blue flowers. And white-flowered eucalypts seem to be full of snowballs.
