Mount Conner
Bis Uluru sind es noch etwa 100 km, da taucht links des Lasseter Highway in der Ferne hinter Wüstenkasuarinen (Desert Oaks) ein großes Felsplateau auf: Der Tafelberg Mount Conner. Wie das ganze umgebende Land ist auch dieser Felsen rostrot. Die Dünen nahe der Straße sind allerding heller rot bis grell orange. Im Gegensatz zum dichten Buschwerk auf einer Seite des Highway ist die andere offeneres Gelände mit verschiedenen Eukalyptusbäumen.
To Uluru there are still about 100 km, as on the left of the Lasseter Highway in the distance behind desert oaks a large rocky plateau appears: table mountain Mount Conner. Like all the surrounding land, this rock is rusty red. The dunes near the road however, are brighter red to gaudy orange. Unlike the dense bushes on one side of the highway, the other is more open terrain with various eucalyptus trees.
