Polarkreis, entspannt
Anders als auf der Hinreise in Schweden überqueren wir in Norwegen den Polarkreis (diesmal in Richtung Süden) ohne Zwischenfall. Die Vegetation hier, recht hoch gelegen, ist sehr karg. Und das Polarkreis-Zentrum an der E6, im Sommer belebt wie ein Bienenstock, ist geschlossen, eingeschneit und nicht erreichbar. Die Zufahrt an der E6 ist nur auf wenige Meter von Schnee geräumt.
Arctic Circle, relaxed Unlike on the way up in Sweden, we cross the arctic circle in Norway (this time towards the south) without incident. The vegetation here, in quite high elevation, is very sparse. And the Arctic Circle Center at the E6, in summer busy like a beehive, is closed, snowed in and not accessible. The driveway from the E6 is cleared from snow only a few meters.
