Andøya
Die nördlichste Vesterålen-Insel, Andøya, ist nicht nur landschaftlich sehr schön, uns präsentiert sie sich in allen winterlichen Wetterlagen. In Dverberg an der Ostküste, mit der markanten Kirche und dem kleinen Leuchtfeuer, tobt und gischtet der Nordatlantik. Weiter nördlich droht ein dramatischer Himmel. Im Nordosten, bei Fiskenes steht ein Fischerboot aufgebockt vor der Kulisse der Insel Senja. Berühmt ist Andenes Fyr, der hohe, dunkelrote Leuchtturm an der Nordspitze der Insel.
The northernmost Vesterålen Island, Andøya, is not only very scenic, to us it presents itself in all winter weather conditions. In Dverberg, on the east coast, with the distinctive church and the small beacon, the North Atlantic is raging and gushing. Further north, a dramatic sky threatens. In the north-east, near Fiskenes, a propped fishing boat stands up against the backdrop of the island of Senja. Famous is Andenes Fyr, the tall, dark red lighthouse at the northern tip of the island.
Richtig heftig wird es am nächsten Morgen: An unserem Stellplatz am Meer am Südrand von Andenes stürmt es so sehr, dass wir uns nur für Minuten aus dem Wohnmobil trauen. Ganz besonders schön ist die Straße entlang der Westküste Andøyas, sie ist eine nationale Touristenroute. Aber auch hier gewähren uns Wind, Regen und Hagel nur wenige Fotos.
The next morning it gets real hefty: At our pitch by the sea at the southern end of Andenes it storms so hard that we dare to leave the camper for a few minutes only. The road along the west coast of Andøyas is particularly beautiful, it is a National Tourist Route. But also here wind, rain and hail grant us only a few photos.
