Elliston an der Trinity Bay, im Norden der Bonavista-Halbinsel, ist bekannt für Papageitaucher. Außerhalb des Ortes, an der Straße nach Maberly, wandern wir ein paar hundert Meter zu einer Felsklippe, der gegenüber die Vogelinsel liegt. Wir kommen ihnen hier nicht so nahe wie in Island, aber sie sind sehr schön als große Kolonie zu beobachten.
Puffin island Elliston at Trinity Bay, in the north of the Bonavista Peninsula, is known for its puffins. Outside the village, at the road to Maberly, we walk a few hundred meters to a rocky outcropping opposite the bird island. We are not as close to them here as in Iceland, but they are very nice to watch as a large colony.
