Nur ein paar Schritte von den Störchen entfernt steht in Bitėnai ein kleines Museum. Hier hat im Zarenreich ein Autor und Publizist mit dem illegalen Druck von Büchern in litauischer Sprache gegen die Unterdrückung der eigenen Kultur gearbeitet. Dem Museum ist ein sehr schön gestalteter Park angeschlossen. Darin sind viele großformatige Bilder und Skulpturen litauischer Künstler aufgestellt und der Witterung ausgesetzt. Faszinierend ist dabei unter Anderem, wie viele der Exponate passend in die Landschaft gestellt bzw. gemalt worden sind.
Park art Just a few steps away from the storks there is a small museum in Bitėnai. Here an author and publicist worked in the Tsarist empire to illegally print books in Lithuanian against the oppression of their own culture. A very nicely designed park is attached to the museum. In it many large-format pictures and sculptures by Lithuanian artists are placed and exposed to the weather. It is fascinating, among other things, how many of the exhibits have been appropriately placed or painted into the landscape.
