Der NaturReiseführer schreibt: „Charakteristisch für das Gebiet sind die ungeheuren, fast schon chaotischen Verwerfungen, die zu tiefen Schluchten und eindrucksvollen Steilwänden geführt haben, und die vielen anderen Felsformationen …“.
Such an impressive mountain landscape is unusual even in Spain. The Ports (passes), west of the Ebro Delta, are the result of mountain folding.
