Der Grasslands National Park ist Prärie in diversen Variationen. Ein so genannter Ecotour Scenic Drive führt über 80 km durch den Westblock und an seiner Grenze zurück. Die Bisonherde, die hier lebt, zeigt sich uns leider nicht; die diversen Schlangen, darunter eine Klapperschlangenart, glücklicherweise auch nicht.
The Grasslands National Park is prairie in various variations. A so-called Ecotour Scenic Drive leads over 80 km through the west block and back at its border. Unfortunately, the bison herd that lives here does not show up; the various snakes, including a rattlesnake, luckily not, too.
Ein Nachbar des Parks ist offenbar ein Witzbold: Die Pfähle seiner Weidezäune hat er über hunderte Meter mit alten Westernstiefeln geschmückt.
A neighbor of the park is obviously a joker: He has decorated the piles of his pasture fences over hundreds of meters with old Western boots.
