Zurück von der Halbinsel Valdés fahren wir südöstlich von Puerto Madryn an der Küste des Golfo Nuevo entlang. Der ist hier nicht weniger sehenswert als gegenüber. Im Naturreservat Reserva Faunistica de Punta Loma nisten Kormorane in den Wänden der Kreidefelsen. Auf einem Strand unter den Vögeln ist eine Seelöwen-Kolonie. Hier sind die Robben viel lebhafter, als am Punta Pirámide.
Back from the Valdés Peninsula, we drive southeast of Puerto Madryn along the coast of the Golfo Nuevo. It is no less worth seeing here than opposite. In the nature reserve Reserva Faunistica de Punta Loma, cormorants nest in the walls of the chalk cliffs. On a beach below the birds is a sea lion colony. Here the seals are much livelier than at Punta Pirámide.
