Das Mittelmeer, das als „Badewanne“ beliebt ist, tobt und rast am Cabo de Gata. Über den Schaumkronen der Wellen ist in der Ferne Almería zu sehen. Die Flamingos auf der Saline haben, vermutlich wegen des Sturms, ihre Köpfe ins Gefieder gesteckt, bis auf eine Gruppe. Die Saline liegt etwa zwischen La Fabriquilla, mit dem markanten Kirchturm, und dem alten Turm Torreón de San Miguel. Dort ist nochmal ein Aussichtspunkt, von dem wir den Salzsee von Norden her sehen.
The Mediterranean Sea, popularly known as a ‘bathtub’, rages and roars at Cabo de Gata. Almería can be seen in the distance above the white caps of the waves. The flamingos on the salt flats have tucked their heads into their feathers, probably because of the storm, except for one group. The salt flats are located roughly between La Fabriquilla, with its striking church tower, and the old Torreón de San Miguel tower. There is another viewpoint there from which we can see the salt lake from the north.
