Saint-Valery-en-Caux

english:

It looks like the extension of the cliff at the Plage de Saint-Jouin-Bruneval. And indeed it is, but better lit. The Alabaster Coast stretches from Le Havre 120 km to the north-east of Normandy. The alabaster-coloured chalk cliffs, up to over a hundred metres high, are the source of its name. Saint-Valery-en-Caux is an attractive coastal resort with a harbour that is directly dependent on the tide. A pretty lighthouse stands on the breakwater at the entrance to the harbour (behind the pay caravan site). The cliffs tower above everything.
