Futterneid
Je niedlicher wilde Tiere sind, umso mehr werden Fütterungsverbote missachtet. So gibt es am Strand von Rottnest Island für ein Quokka Hähnchenknochen und Banane. Aber andere Tiere wollen auch ihren Anteil. Eine Möwe beobachtet die Fütterung argwöhnisch. Eine schwarz glänzende Echse schleicht sich heran und verschleppt einen Knochen. Die Möwe schnappt sich auch einen und verteidigt ihn gegen eine Artgenossin. Doch schließlich erkennen beide, dass sie ihn nicht fressen können.
Jealousy about food
The sweeter wild animals, the more feeding bans are disregarded. On the beach of Rottnest Island, for a quokka, there are chicken bones and bananas. But other animals also want their share. A seagull observes the feeding suspiciously. A shiny black lizard sneaks up and carries off a bone. The seagull also grabs one and defends it against a conspecific. But finally, both realize that they can not eat it.
