Nahe Sögel, im Emsland, liegt das Jagdschloss Clemenswerth. Das zentrale Hauptgebäude ist sternförmig von acht Pavillons umgeben, alle aus Backstein errichtet, im westfälisch geprägten Barock. Sieben der acht Pavillons waren Gästehäuser und Wirtschaftsgebäude, der achte ist eine Kapelle. Das zentrale Schloss steht im Zentrum eines so genannten Jagdsterns, sternförmig zusammenführende Sichtachsen und Schneisen. Das Ensemble ist die einzige erhaltene Jagdsternanlage der Welt.
Clemenswerth Palace Near Sögel, in the Emsland, the hunting lodge Clemenswerth is located. The central main building is surrounded in a star shape by eight pavilions, all made of brick, in the Westphalian Baroque style. Seven of the eight pavilions were guest houses and estate buildings, the eighth is a chapel. The central palace is at the center of a so-called hunting star, star-shaped merging visual axes and aisles. The ensemble is the only sustained hunting star site in the world.
