Frau Rumkommers Grüner Tee ist aufgebraucht. Die Lage ist noch verschärft, denn wir finden in schwedischen Supermärkten Grünen Tee nur in Teebeuteln. Nein, danke. Aber wir haben ja eine große Stadt vor der Nase. In Sundsvall wird es doch wohl ein Tee-Fachgeschäft geben. Wir fahren zur Touristeninformation, die kennen sich aus. Die typisch schwedisch blonde Frau in der Info spricht akzentfrei deutsch. Akzentfrei? Nein, sie spricht eine leicht westfälische Nuance, dem Herumkommer wohl vertraut. Die junge Deutsche hat in Sundsvall studiert (!), in English (!) und ist geblieben. Keine schlechte Wahl (unabhängig von den privaten Gründen): Sundsvall ist zwar eine Industriestadt, aber einige Leute haben hier schon im 19. Jahrhundert viel Geld gescheffelt und einiges davon in attraktive Gebäude investiert. Dadurch ist die Innenstadt wirklich sehenswert. Und jetzt sind in den Straßen auch noch witzige, bunte Dino-Figuren aufgestellt.

Nach dem Bummel durch die Innenstadt fahren wir noch zum Aussichtsturm auf dem Norra Berget mit schöner Aussicht über die Stadt. Und exzellente Informationen für interessante Landschaften und Orte auf der weiteren Route haben wir auch bekommen.
