An der Mittelmeerküste sind viele, auch sehr große Stellplätze häufig voll. Also sind wir mal wieder ins bergige Hinterland gefahren. In Biar ist die Nachfrage nach freien Plätzen auf dem gut angelegten Wohnmobil-Stellplatz auch groß, aber wir ergattern noch einen. Das Dorf ist an den Berg unter der beachtlichen Burg gebaut. In der späten Nachmittagssonne erklimmen wir den Hang bis unter die Burg. Straßen gibt es hier fast nur in der Waagerechten. Auf- und abwärts geht es über Treppen, die häufig mit Blumentöpfen dekoriert sind.
Up the stairs to the castle
Many of the pitches on the Mediterranean coast, including some very large ones, are often full. So we drove into the mountainous hinterland again. In Biar, demand for free spaces at the well-designed motorhome site is also high, but we manage to get one. The village is built on the mountain below the impressive castle. In the late afternoon sun, we climb the slope to below the castle. The streets here are almost exclusively horizontal. We go up and down stairs, which are often decorated with flower pots.
