Der Hvalfjörður (Walfjord) gilt als einer der schönsten Islands. Von einem Aussichtspunkt haben wir einen schönen Überblick über einen Teil des Fjords. Stromschnellen und ein Wasserfall finden mal wieder unser Interesse. Und dies wäre nicht Island, wenn nicht oberhalb des Wasserfalls hundert Meter weiter der nächste wäre.

Whale Fjord
The Hvalfjörður (Whale Fjord) is considered one of Iceland´s most beautiful fjords. From an overlook we have a nice overview of a part of the fjord. Rapids and a waterfall attract us once more. And this would not be Iceland, if there were not another waterfall a hundred meters further above the first one.
