Die Felsenlandschaft Peggys Point mit dem berühmten Leuchtturm haben wir schon auf unserer Kanada-Rundreise besucht. Daher wissen wir, dass sich ein Besuch hier immer wieder lohnt. Der Leuchtturm ist jetzt mit typisch kanadischen Holzsesseln „garniert“. Zu unserer Überraschung ist der Parkplatz beim Leuchtturm, an diesem touristischen Hotspot, für Wohnmobile ausgewiesen. Nicht nur Leuchtturm und Felsen sind sehenswert. Auch das Fischerdorf Peggys Cove bietet uns wieder interessante Impressionen.
Back at Peggy’s
We have already visited the rocky landscape of Peggys Point with its famous lighthouse on our tour of Canada. So we know that a visit here is always worthwhile. The lighthouse is now ‘garnished’ with typical Canadian wooden armchairs. To our surprise, the car park at the lighthouse, at this tourist hotspot, is designated for motorhomes. It’s not just the lighthouse and rocks that are worth seeing. The fishing village of Peggys Cove also offers us some interesting impressions.
