An der rauhen Nordseeküste südlich von Aberdeen peitscht der auflandige Wind das Meer in heftigen Wellen schäumend gegen die Felsen, beleuchtet von strahlendem Sonnenschein. Doch wir haben keine Zeit mehr, diese grandiose Szenerie zu fotografieren. Denn wir wollen nach der Wanderung im Glen Doll und einer langen Fahrt endlich einen Stellplatz für die Nacht.
Die Harbour Bar in dem kleinen Fischerdorf Gourdon bietet über ‚Brit Stops‚ drei kostenlose Plätze, dorthin wollen wir. Nach der Anmeldung dort sehen wir uns erst mal im Hafen um. Ganz hübsch, aber es wird ungemütlich, als die Sonne über der Küste verschwindet. Und der Wind peitscht das Meer gegen die Hafenmole.
At the rough north sea coast, south of Aberdeen, the onshore wind whips the sea in violent waves foaming against the rocks, illuminated by bright sunshine. But we do not have time to photograph this grand scenery. After the hike in the Glen Doll and a long drive we finally want a pitch for the night.
The Harbour Bar in the small fishing village Gourdon offers three free places through ‚Brit Stops‚, there we want to go. After registering, we first look around the harbor. Very pretty, but it becomes uncomfortable when the sun disappears over the coast. And the wind whips the sea against the mole.
