Es ist kein Geheimnis, dass die „Grüne Insel“ Irland ihr Grün ganz wesentlich dem milden, atlantischen Klima mit viel Regen verdankt. Und auch wenn es nicht mehr drei Tage durchgehend regnet, so sind wir auf der Beara-Halbinsel weiterhin häufigem Regen ausgesetzt. Bei Eyeries trotzen wir dem Wetter, um die bizarre, von Felsen durchsetzte grüne Landschaft zu fotografieren.

It is no secret that the „Emerald Isle“ of Ireland owes much of its greenery to the mild, Atlantic climate with lots of rain. And even though it no longer rains for three days straight, we are still exposed to frequent rain on the Beara Peninsula. At Eyeries we brave the weather to photograph the bizarre green landscape interspersed with rocks.
