Auf dem Mount Kerkeslin Campground unterbrechen wir die Fahrt entlang des Icefields Parkway. Hier im Jasper National Park ist nicht daran zu denken, außerhalb eines Campingplatzes zu übernachten. Die Stellplätze liegen sehr schön im Wald verteilt, oberhalb des Athabasca River. Die Athabasca Falls liegen morgens im Gegenlicht. Und mit einer grandiosen Aussicht über die Talsenke der Stadt Jasper hinweg auf die dahinter liegenden Berge beenden wir den Parkway.
In Jasper National Park At the Mount Kerkeslin Campground, we have a break driving along the Icefields Parkway. Here in Jasper National Park is not to think about staying outside of a campsite. The pitches are beautifully distributed in the forest, above the Athabasca River. The Athabasca Falls lie in the morning in the backlight. And with a magnificent view over the valley of the city of Jasper away on the mountains behind it, we end the Parkway.
