Am Langfjord, einem Seitenarm des Altafjord, haben wir auf einem Parkplatz direkt am Wasser einen schönen Übernachtungsplatz gefunden. Am Morgen zaubern Nebel und Sonne eine Lichtstimmung in den Fjord, wie aus einem Traum. Weiter südwestlich am Burfjord und am Badderfjord hält sich der Nebel noch. Die Brücke über den Sørstraumen, einen starken Gezeitenstrom, liegt in der Sonne, als wir uns nähern. Bis wir einen Parkplatz gefunden haben, ist sie schon wieder fast vom Nebel verschluckt.
Fog and sun At the Langfjord, a tributary of the Altafjord, we have found a nice place for the night in a parking lot right by the water. In the morning fog and sun conjure a light mood in the fjord, as if from a dream. Further southwest on Burfjord and on Badderfjord the fog still holds. The bridge over the Sørstraumen, a strong tidal current, lies in the sun, as we approach. Until we find a parking lot, it’s already nearly swallowed by the fog.
