Seit ein paar Tagen reisen wir überwiegend auf dem „Wild Atlantic Way“, markiert mit einem stilisierten WAW. Diese Route verläuft entlang der gesamten Westküste Irlands. Ein Abschnitt davon ist die „Sky Road“, westlich von Clifden. Diese enge Panoramastraße steigt allmählich an und an der höchsten Stelle erreichen wir den Aussichtsparkplatz Sky Road Viewpoint. Ein Sturm zerrt hier an uns und dem Womo. Von der Gischt ist die Sicht etwas getrübt, dennoch sind die Ausblicke großartig.
For a few days now, we have been travelling mostly on the „Wild Atlantic Way“, marked with a stylised WAW. This route runs along the entire west coast of Ireland. One section of it is the „Sky Road“, west of Clifden. This narrow panoramic road climbs gradually and at the highest point we reach the Sky Road Viewpoint. A storm tugs at us and the motorhome. The view is somewhat obscured by the spray, but the views are still great.
