Beim Start unserer Weiterfahrt mit dem Expressbus ist die Reiseführerin eine große Hilfe. In den Busterminal in Hangzhou kommt niemand ohne Fahrkarte oder Touristenführer-Ausweis. Die Zugänge zu den Bussen ähneln Flughafen-Gates. Tickets, Anzeigetafeln und Ansagen zu bevorstehenden Abfahrten sind nur in chinesischer Schrift bzw. Sprache. Dies ist eine der typischen Situationen, in der wir die Reiseführerin nicht missen möchten.
Im Süden der Provinz Anhui werden wir in Tunxi / Huangshan City am Busterminal abgeholt. Unterwegs zum Huang Shan, in Tangkou, deponieren wir auf Empfehlung unseres Tour guide die Koffer und nehmen in einer Tasche nur das Nötigste mit. Dann erreichen wir die ‚Huangshan Scenic Area‘, nach weiteren ca. 10 km die Talstation des ‚Cloud Valley Cableway‘. Die 71/2 Kilometer lange Seilbahn ist neu. Sie reicht bis oben auf den „Gelben Berg“. Hier gibt es nur Wege mit vielen Treppen, die Koffer wären da sehr hinderlich. Der Reiseführer bringt uns zum Hotel und verabschiedet sich dann. Mit unserer zweisprachigen Touristenkarte (chinesisch / englisch) fällt die Orientierung auf dem Huang Shan nicht schwer.
To the Yellow Mountain
At the start of our journey with the fast bus the guide is a great help. Nobody gets into the bus terminal in Hangzhou without a ticket or a tourist guide ID. The entrances to the buses resemble airport gates. Tickets, display boards and announcements for upcoming departures are only in Chinese. This is one of the typical situations in which we do not want to miss the tour guide.
In the south of Anhui Province, we are picked up at the bus terminal in Tunxi / Huangshan City. On the way to Huang Shan, in Tangkou, we deposit the suitcases on the recommendation of our tour guide and take only the essentials in one bag. Then we reach the ‚Huangshan Scenic Area‘, after another 10 km the valley station of the ‚Cloud Valley Cableway‘. The 71/2 kilometer long cableway is new. It reaches up to the top of the „Yellow Mountain“. There are only paths with many stairs, the suitcases would be very cumbersome. The guide takes us to the hotel and then says goodbye. With our bilingual tourist map (Chinese / English) the orientation on the Huang Shan is not difficult.
