Einer der historisch wichtigsten Orte ist für die Rumänen die Stadt Alba Iulia / Karlsburg in Siebenbürgen / Transsilvania. Sinnbild dieser Bedeutung ist die Zitadelle / Cetatea in Form eines 17-zackigen Sterns, überragt von der Krönungskathedrale. In den vergangenen Jahren wurde (und wird) diese Stadt in der Stadt vorrangig restauriert.
One of the most historically important places for Romanians is the city of Alba Iulia in Transylvania.
