Vom Cabo de São Vicente nach Norden zieht sich die Costa Vicentina mit vielen herrlichen Stränden und großartigen Aussichtspunkten. Der Atlantische Ozean brandet hier ungebremst gegen die Küste. Tief gestaffelt schäumen die Wellen und erfüllen die Luft weiträumig mit Gischt, selbst ohne Sturm. Am Praia da Cordoama, im Süden, ist das schön zu beobachten.
