Diese Single Track Road (Radweg-breite Achterbahn mit Ausweichstellen) ist nichts für Fahranfänger.
Hard at the coast and up high
The route from Shieldaig to Applecross around the peninsula along the coast and over the Cattle Pass to Ardarroch and Lochcarron is mentioned in various travel guides one of the most beautiful vehicle tours in the Northern Great Britain. This single track road (bike path wide roller coaster with escape points) is not for driving beginners.

Applecross besteht im Wesentlichen aus einer einzigen Häuserzeile. Der Ort ist ganz attraktiv, aber fest in der Hand des Tourismus. Daher fahren wir noch am frühen Abend weiter über den zweithöchsten Pass Großbritanniens mit Schwindel erregenden Steigungen, engen Kehren und extremen Gefällstrecken. Unser Allradantrieb und die Ganguntersetzung sind hier eine gute Unterstützung beim Fahren. Von der Passhöhe geht der Blick gegen die untergehende Sonne zur Isle of Skye.
Applecross consists essentially of a single row of houses. The place is quite attractive but solid in the hand of tourism. So we continue in the early evening over the second highest pass in Great Britain with dizzying slopes, narrow sweeps and extreme downhill slopes. Our all-wheel drive and gear reduction are a good support for driving. From the pass, the view is towards the setting sun to the Isle of Skye.
