Venedig liegt bekanntlich mitten in einer Lagune der Adria. Praktisch der gesamte Verkehr Venedigs ist auf dem Wasser. Mit unserem Wohnmobil müssen wir in der Peripherie bleiben. Wir haben einen sehr guten kommerziellen Stellplatz am Punta Sabbioni, dem Ende der Landzunge, die die Lagune im Nordosten umschließt. Mit dem Vaporetto (ursprünglich „Dampfschiffchen) fahren wir durch die Lagune in die Stadt und am Abend zurück. Sonnenschein und herbstlicher Dunst über dem Wasser schaffen eine besondere Atmosphäre.
Venice, as we all know, lies in the middle of a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. Virtually all the traffic of Venice is on the water. With our camper we must remain in the periphery. We have a very good commercial pitch at Punta Sabbioni, the end of the headland that surrounds the lagoon in the north east. With the vaporetto (originally „little steam boat“) we drive through the lagoon into the city and back in the evening. Sunshine and autumnal haze over the water create a special atmosphere.
